About Self-Defense sessions

Our focus is to teach all aspects of self-defence rather than center around Karate techniques. Getting into a fight with the attacker is usually the last resort. In such situations it is important to save yourself from the attacker rather than using Karate skills. The attacker does not care if you know Karate or not. Hence we keep the training simple and practical and not to make you an expert in Karate. Practising our techniques gives you self-confidence, raises your awareness and gives simple, yet effective ways to protect yourself from an attacker.

What we cover in each session

Session 1.         Raising awareness and developing the ‘safety mindset’.

Session 2.         Understanding body language.

Session 3.         Role plays in various real-life scenarios.

Session 4.         Simple Karate moves of self defence; examples: Striking, Blocking & Evasion techniques and Practical Application.

Session 5.         Session on Healthy lifestyle, Fitness Tips, Basic exercises.

Session 6.         Demonstration of Advanced Techniques includes selected Katas (optional).

Sessions can be repeated as needed.
